CAREline – Mobile, Live Streaming – Nurse Triage and Incident Reporting App

MITIGATE has taken decades of conventional workplace risk, safety and injury management practices to the next level with CAREline – a proprietary, app-based technology solution designed to keep employees and customers safer, streamline regulatory reporting and quantifiably reduce workplace injury costs to employers.

Described as “an industry game-changer,” MITIGATE’s strategies help minimize injuries and help keep those that occur to First Aid Only rather than OSHA recordable, when medically feasible. One touch of the CAREline live nurse triage and incident reporting app immediately connects an injured employee or company manager to CAREline’s specially-trained Nurse Triage Team via mobile, live-streaming video. The triage process is conducted in a HIPAA-compliant environment and accommodates 170+ languages.

CAREline’s live-stream video triage app enables the ill or injured party to see the nurse and the nurse to see them. The caller is able to discuss the ailment or condition with the nurse – who by nature of visual assessment – is able to triage the situation more effectively than with a voice-only call. Depending on the assessment, the nurse may recommend on-site first aid or treatment at an urgent care or hospital- based emergency facility – and can provide GPS mapping sent directly to the caller’s phone, when applicable. Injury incident details – exclusive of HIPAA info – systemically populate all medical and regulatory reports (such as those required by OSHA) and are immediately available on the employer’s CAREline dashboard.

MITIGATE’s Proactive – Responsive – Corrective integrated strategies safer by minimizing injuries, help maximize regulatory reporting efficiencies and help reduce injury-related costs. The CAREline app may also be used for Customer Injuries, Fleet and Vehicle Accident reporting and Employee Health and Wellness calls.

Who is Mitigate?

Paul Shelter, Founder

ShelterPaul is a WNY native who has decades of injury management experience operating at the executive level of Fortune 100 aerospace and manufacturing companies and other industries nationwide. He has been recognized for developing integrated injury mitigation strategies that have led to 50-90% reductions in workplace injury costs. Paul holds a BS in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University/Northridge, a United States Military commission from UCLA and served as a US Army Captain in combat arms for 16 years. Shelter is a WNY native who has lived in China, Washington DC and in California for 25 years. He is a Six-Sigma Black Belt, is fluent in Spanish and was the Founder/CEO of several successful companies before returning to the area with his family to launch Mitigate Injury Management in 2014.
