Helm Helm Experience & Design LLC (Helm) is a product and user experience design practice located in Buffalo, NY. Helm works with startups and established companies to create digital products that solve business problems while delighting users.

Through hands-on interaction and UX design; they work with development, management, and design teams to bring ideas to life. From conception to launch (and beyond) they design and build interfaces, websites, mobile applications, or digital products.


Who is Helm?

Nicholas Barone Founder

Nicholas BaroneHas spent his entire career working to increase the number of technology companies and entrepreneurs in Buffalo, NY. He has worked with multiple startup companies doing everything from brand identity to creating user interfaces that solve their business’ problems. Barone, most recently, worked as the Director of Design and UX at Doolli. He also has been an organizer of Buffalo Open Coffee, Bar Camp Buffalo, Buffalo Startup Weekend and Buffalo UX Meetup.

Jonathan Gorczyca Founder

Jonathan GorczycaHas been designing interactive tools and helping entrepreneurs make their ideas a reality for over 10 years. He has solved problems and produced solutions for startups and Fortune 500 companies across the world. He enjoys working with teams of all sizes to create experiences that people enjoy and find value in. Gorczyca, most recently, worked as a Senior UX Design lead at Campus Labs. He has also been an organizer for Buffalo Startup Weekend, Buffalo Open Data, and Buffalo UX Meetup.
