Mitch Bechtel Founder & CTO
A Buffalo native, Mitch began his software development career at age 19 in San Francisco, programming video games for the entertainment industry. After moving to Los Angeles, he began developing customized business applications on a freelance and consultative basis. Mitch is the creator of the software platform on which all of COMAND Solutions’ products are based. Mitch is committed to being a part of Buffalo’s innovation-driven renaissance. For that reason, he has located COMAND Solutions on Elmwood Avenue in the Allentown District where all of its 12 employees are located. It is the culmination of his efforts to create an integrated, accessible, small business management solution, Comand Center. It will enable small businesses like COMAND Solutions to streamline operations and leverage their data to more effectively run their business.
Gary Braunscheidel Founder & CEO
Gary has over 20 years of experience buying, building and deploying technology and business solutions that deliver results. With a talent for bridging the gap between business and technology, Gary has focused on delivering solutions that help his customers achieve their objectives and enabling small organizations to achieve greater results through the use of technology. After graduating from the University of Buffalo, Gary joined a large defense contractor where he specialized in software research and development for the US Army. He was selected for an assignment in Germany where he spent four years developing software for the Army. He returned to Buffalo, and joined Azerty Incorporated (United Stationers) where he began working in wholesale as an applications developer and for over 16 years held positions of increased responsibility eventually being promoted to IT Director. Gary focused mostly on sales and customer service technology building new solutions to streamline business processes.
