You’re invited to the official Mayor Byron W. Brown’s Civic Innovation Challenge Powered by AT&T check-in event, hosted by the City of Buffalo and AT&T in partnership with Dr. Aaron Krolikowski, local open data advocate and Managing Director of Krolikowski Consulting.
This free event will be an opportunity to hear from the City of Buffalo about its open data resources and exchange ideas with your peers in the local civic tech community. Bring your ideas on how to improve Buffalo using data! Representatives from the City of Buffalo will be on hand to answer questions about Open Data Buffalo, the City’s new official open data portal.
The event will also give you a chance to form a team for theMayor’s Civic Innovation Challenge. We’re halfway through the Challenge but there’s still plenty of time to generate ideas, form teams, and build something innovative! With $8,000 in prizes, the Challenge will help identify some of the most innovative uses of the city’s newly opened datasets.
Space is limited, so please RSVP by Thursday, April 5th to reserve your spot!
Free pizza and refreshments sponsored by Krolikowski Consulting.
Free parking for the event is available in the 77 Goodell visitor parking lot at the corner of Goodell & N Oak on the other side of N Oak St. There is also limited on-street parking available on the Ellicott St. side of 77 Goodell.
