CEO & Co-Founder, GiveGab.com
Charlie Mulligan is the founder and CEO of GiveGab.com, the social network for volunteers. Entrepreneurship has always been a part of Charlie’s life. His father left a great job and started Mulligan Printing when Charlie was only 6 years old. Starting in their family’s living room, Charlie could see first hand that building a great company is possible with effort, perseverance, and the willingness to ask for help.
Eventually, Charlie would run the print advertising arm of Mulligan Printing. During this time, he had the chance to interact with 100s of startups over the years, further solidifying his respect for the courage and passion it takes to create a company – and the strong desire to create something great himself.
Charlie founded GiveGab on his 40th birthday – in his living room at the exact same age as his father started Mulligan Printing. Charlie considers his key strengths to be his ability to attract employees far more talented than himself, to help point them in the right direction, and to fight to give them all the tools they need to be successful.
