Emmanuel is the founder of Dorm Mom, Inc. He is also the inventor and designer of the Laundry Box that acts as a point of sale for Dorm Mom’s services and a secure location for students to conveniently leave their laundry 24/7 for pickup. A former resident assistant at Michigan Technological University, Emmanuel has a strong passion for residence life and has sought ways to improve the quality of life for students living on campus. Upon graduation with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he founded Dorm Mom in Buffalo New York and the service is currently available at over 80 colleges across the United States. Emmanuel is also a software developer and has developed several applications for the iPhone and Android devices currently in the App Store. He loves working out, playing golf, tennis, soccer and motorcycling. . Emmanuel is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the State University of New York, Buffalo and graduates in the Fall of 2014.

Dorm Mom is the leading provider of laundry pickup and drop off service to college students living in University and College residence halls across the United States. 70% of incoming freshmen to colleges have had their parents do their laundry and college is usually the first time they do their own wash. 82% of those surveyed indicated they would pay to have their laundry done if they lived on campus.
The Laundry Box, a smart, automated device with a touchscreen interface, which won the University at Buffalo’s Panasci Technology Business Plan Competition 2nd prize award, is currently being rolled out to various colleges across the United States where Dorm Mom’s services are provided and is set to exponentially grow the brand. 20% of residents at the Goodyear Hall at the State University of New York, Buffalo signed up for the services within two (2) weeks of installation. Dorm Mom believes the Laundry Box is a game changer that places it in direct partnership with the universities.
