Brendon Dever, Co-Founder – Brendon is a Co-Founder of Heads Up Display Inc, a wearable technology manufacturing company. Brendon drives the company forward with his understanding of process management and servant leadership that he developed during his collegiate football career and time as an Account Representative for New Era Cap. Brendon created the company’s initial business plan and financial projections with his MBA team at Medaille College. His role includes corporate strategy, operations, sales, and budgeting. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Buffalo, New York and has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from St. John Fisher College. He is currently enrolled at UB’s High Tech Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Clark Dever, Co-Founder – Clark is responsible for the initial ideation around Heads Up. He organizes the company’s technology development, marketing, and public relations. Clark has serially worked for startups since high school. Previously, he was the Marketing Strategist for the head mounted display company, Vuzix, where he generated articles in Wired, TechCrunch, USA Today, and the MIT Technology review. He is also known for his “Twelve Hours in a City” project, in October 2009 he visited 30 cities in 31 days while documenting it via social media. The project received over 220MM media impressions worldwide with coverage from all major domestic news networks. Clark is a graduate of Honeoye Falls-Lima High School and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management from SUNY at Buffalo. He is currently enrolled at UB’s High Tech Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Heads Up Display Inc
Heads Up is a simple head-up display for data driven decisions. A wearable technology that prompts workers with critical information while allowing them to maintain their situational awareness in potentially hazardous environments. They are actively seeking seed funding and beta customers in the Industrial Safety, First Responder, and Defense markets. They currently operate out of the Z80 Labs incubator in downtown Buffalo, NY.
