Founder, Socially Good Business

Liz spent years at Ben & Jerry’s Headquarters developing strategies, initiatives and campaigns to bring life to B&J’s three-part mission. She absorbed cutting-edge methods from the very company that pioneered a successful, integrity-driven global brand. After receiving inquiries from brands attempting to embrace this new model, Liz found there were few resources out there helping brands implement SEI (societal & environmental integrity) successfully and in a way that fostered employee morale, loyal customers, and brand differentiation and decided this was an opportunity to evolve the field. Knowing what a successful model looked like from the inside, she scaled and formalized a process for other brands to implement, and started Socially Good Business (SGB).

Liz has been featured in media outlets such as USA Today and Good Morning America and worked with producers ranging from the Food Network, The Colbert Report, to CNN. Liz and her team have worked on initiatives involving: community engagement, volunteering, sustainability, corporate foundations/philanthropy, responsible sourcing, packaging, cause activism, consumer activism, and climate change.

A team of change-agents focused on a company’s internal consistency through on-going implementation & management of innovative social responsibility & sustainability programs. (We call is SEI: societal & environmental integrity.)

Socially Good Business develops long-term partnerships – we’re an agency, not consultants. We address the gap consultants often leave when a strategy is complete: implementation & maintenance. Operating as an extension of in-house teams, we collaborate with internal champions to learn the inner workings & challenges of organizations in order to strategize, implement, and manage customized, realistic & cost-effective programs.
